The Moon is Getting Away; We Need to Reel It Back in

Author: Lance Winslow

Some scientists have noticed that the moon is slowly moving away from us? Perhaps it does this in cycles we have not been measuring it enough to know? Nevertheless if it gets too far away this could be very bad for our planet and means that the tides and weather would change? Not good considering all the doom and gloom over Global Warming and or climate change.

What would happen if seas calmed down since the moon slowed the tides? Well if could be very serious for surfers and they would be pissed that NASA and our top research scientist were not considering ways to reel it back in or use giant tractor laser beams like many science fiction movies and authors have discussed using to collect metallic asteroids for mining or capturing comets on a collision course.

An abrupt change in our weather would be dangerous for Earth and moreover for human civilizations, which rely on weather to prevent droughts, grow crops and use for our huge city populations. If the ocean currents changed this would affect sea life and the weather even more.

Sounds like a doom and gloom scenario worse than Global Warming? Well actually it is not worse it would be in addition to it? Consider this in 2006 and I just have so much fun scaring your little human minds let me tell you.
