Many people will look at Internet entrepreneurs and think that you need to have a PhD in Computers to be able to make any money out of the Internet but in reality it is the every day man (or woman) in the street who is profiting from the greatest shop front in history. But how do you get your share of the profits?

If you look back in time the two main methods that anyone has used to make money have been

1) Invent your own unique product or

2) Take someone elses product and re-invent making it better and / or cheaper

If you have a very analytical and inventive mind then the first option may appeal to you but for the vast majority of us, maximum profits with minimal effort is the preferred method.

Take a look on Ebay, QXL or any other auction website. Have a look at what is selling the most. Which sellers are doing the best? You will probably find that for most auction sites the most successful shops are CD or DVD retailers. They have used the same product but have repackaged the way it is sold and put their own brand to it and many have made a fortune in doing so.

So how do you do the same? Look at your hobbies or subjects that interest you after all if you are going to be spending a fair amount of time working in a particular area you need to be able to retain an interest and if you have an interest or even better a real passion for a subject that will be reflected in the dynamics of your business and will give you the momentum to keep you going if things get tough.

Auction sites are one of the best places for starting out they are cheap to set up and easy to run also the better and more successful you become the more sophisticated you can make your store front.

Choose a product, see what the competition is selling this for. Now research all the sources you can find for this product in your local area, online wholesalers or even in the wholesale section of the auction site. You need to make a minimum profit of about 20% to make this worthwhile obviously the bigger the profit margin the better.

If you are selling information say an E-book you can re-write an E-book in your own style in your own words and once you have finished you have a product that will sell over and over again for huge profits, as the saying goes Money for old rope. Be careful that you are writing this type of product in your own style and with your own view point to avoid any copy write issues.

Look back on History, there are thousands of people who have copied a product in their own style and method and become very rich for doing so for example Cars, TVs, Soft Drinks and even Computers.
