Some people also feel that the world has no need for more children in it, and is becoming over populated. For this reason they may chose to adopt because it helps get a child into a good home so they have a better chance for a good future. Some people also might have genetic diseases that they dont want to give to a child, so they might chose to adopt a child in need, so they arent risking the birth of an unhealthy child. Or, you may have a friend or relative in need of a home for their own child. In order to help them out without taking the child out of the family completely, you may chose to adopt them as your own. This way the child can stay close to their family, as well as be provided for by a capable, loving home. All of the above are excellent reasons to consider adoption before you jump into pregnancy. Remember, child adoption is not right for everyone, but if it is right for you, you will be providing yourself with the joys of parenthood as well saving a child from a possibly bleak future.
