Are You Forgetting the Future and Predicting the Past?

Author: Ken Donaldson

"Already always living"...do you suffer from this? The primary symptom is that of projecting the past into the future...assuming what has (already) happened before to you, will (always) happen again. Therefore, you stay stuck in repetitive patterns and you live your life like a broken record. You have simply forgotten the future and you are predicting the past.

Am I describing you? Want to change that? Read on...

According to the story of Merlin the Magician, he lived from the future into the present, and that was his "magic". He really did know what was going to happen because he had truly already been there.

What would happen if you lived in "Merlin-time"? In doing so, you would live today as if it were your most splendid tomorrow, and therefore, be nothing but totally fulfilled with your every yesterday. Sound intriguing?....

You can live this way. All it requires is a conscious focus and some forward, purposeful action. Write down how that most splendid tomorrow would be. Make it "big", meaning that you would live free of the influence of the past...no fear, no apprehension. Then, begin to l ive your best tomorrow, today.

Would you drive your car by steering your rear-view mirror? Of course not!! You drive your car by putting your hands on the wheel and accelerating forward. Do the same with your life...live forward, not backwards.

There is a perfect life for you. It is a life that fits you, and only you, perfectly. It is a life that allows for errors and mistakes, but it is perfect because it is 100% you! It is your future, and it is here today. Take your eyes off the rear-view mirror and look forward, put your hands on the wheel, and accelerate forward into your greatest future. Make today your greatest tomorrow!!
