Reintegrating Mind And Body With The Human Spirit

Author: Nick Arrizza, M.D.

There was once the view that mind and body were separate and distinct entities. This view espoused originally by the great philosopher and mathematician Rene Descartes over 300 years ago was taken as gospel until the 1980's when scientists i.e. Candace Pert PhD. began to realize that mind and body were in fact one and the same.

Dr. Pert's wonderful work revealed that consciousness and emotions themselves were linked to neuropeptides i.e. chemicals that were produced not only in the brain but throughout the entire physical organism.

Her work made a huge crack in the Descartian view of a mind/body duality.

In the same way we have, without question, chosen to accept the notion of a sprit/body duality. This view espoused by many religions or spiritual schools suggests that the spirit and the body are separate and distinct entities that exist together for only a short time, i.e. what we call our mortal life, and thereafter leave each other at death.

Whats more it is believed that this duality and separation at death are normal and acceptable parts of what many call the life cycle. Some will even venture to say that it is God's will.

I on the other hand would like to challenge this view and suggest that there is something terribly wrong with it.

It has been my experience working with a new modality called the Mind Resonance Process(TM) (MRP) developed over 10 years ago and applied in over a thousand cases that what we perceive and accept as the spirit/body duality is actually an abnormal state of mind and being. Let me explain.

If you look closely at what it is that causes an individual to give up on their life i.e. to leave their body at death, it is the cumulative stored trauma in that body. The "ecology" of the body becomes so "polluted" with what we call "memories of one's life history" that it becomes intolerable for that being to go on existing in that body.

Now the leaving of the body is not something that is accepted easily. In fact many reluctantly give it up as is evident by the desperate attempts here on this planet to avoid death at any cost.

So you see what is happening is that the being whose body it is is being "forced out of it"!

In other words the separation of spirit and body is a forced event, not a natural event as is believed.

The view that the spirit is in fact distinct from the body even in life comes about because one's negative life history which accumulates in what I call the "Integrated Human Being" causes there to be an abnormal "splitting" to occur.

This splitting effectively looks like this:

(A) Integrated Human Being (Spirit & Body As One) -->

Splits into -->

Disintegrated Human Being (Spirit & Body as Two)

In other words what was once a unified and integrated human being becomes a disintegrated or a fragmented human being where the first step in the fragmentation process is described in (A) above.

The fragmentation process described above can be reversed employing MRP.

MRP which I have written extensively about here in this ezine effectively releases the accumulated toxic life history in the form of negative memories, beliefs, emotions, etc. from one's mind/body/spirit and in the process leads to a "reintegration" of one's experience of one's self.

In this experience one feels some or all of the following:

Whole, integrated, energized, buoyant, enlightened, resilient, reconnected to their inner truth, great inner peace, lighter, more radiant, joyful, empowered, expansive, and most importantly recognizes themselves as one unified and indivisible Self which many have described as the experience of Godliness or Divinity itself.

In other words this experience of integration is actually a re-emergence of our God Self or ourselves as a god.

All religions and spiritual teachings that promote the fragmentation of the integrated human being through death in my view are promulgating a view that is depriving us of this natural and deserved state as Divine Beings.
